Thomas Preiss is a social change strategist and entrepreneur. His avid passion for social innovation and purpose-driven business has led him to create and develop social ventures across multiple industries, ranging from e-commerce to e-mobility. In his current role as co-founder and COO of Common Goal, a philanthropy movement that sees professional football players, managers, fans and businesses pledging a minimum of 1% of their earnings to NGOs. Using the power of football to advance the UN Global Goals, he is working to build a bridge between the multi-billion dollar football business and football as a tool for social transformation. Thomas holds an M.A. in International Economics from Georg-August-University Göttingen (Germany), with a year abroad at the University of California, Los Angeles (United States).
