Michael Fritz is a professional conceptual activist, creative change manager and is one of the founders of Viva con Agua (VcA).
This international network consists of more than 15,000 volunteers within the German non-profit organisation. These include incorporated social businesses Viva con Agua Wasser GmbH, Viva con Agua Arts gGmbH and Goldeimer gGmbH (a firm that produces compost toilets and toilet paper), as well as non-profit branches in Uganda, Austria, the Netherlands and Switzerland. It’s foundation, the Viva con Agua Foundation focuses on intercultural exchange and education.
VcA’s objective is to provide clean water to everyone in the world through development projects, intercultural exchange and raising awareness.
In 2006, VcA became the first organisation seeking social change that embraces the all-profit principle: all activities of the organisation benefit all participants, stakeholders and beneficiaries. So far, the living conditions of more than three million people worldwide have been improved thanks to the activities of Viva con Agua.
