Choreographer, performer and filmmaker. After graduating in Sociology Jacopo Jenna perfected the study of contemporary dance at Codarts (Rotterdam Dance Academy) and his research investigates the perception of dance and choreography as an extended practice in relation to movement. He has collaborated in Europe with various companies, performing choreographic research projects and working with visual artists and musicians. His work is produced and supported by the collective Kinkaleri and in recent years he has presented his projects at festivals and institutions such as Central Fies, Cango, MART of Trento, Contemporary Festival, Pépinières européennes pour jeunes artistes / Jeune Création-Vidéo Cinéma, Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi, Luigi Pecci Center for Contemporary Art, Fabbrica Europa and the CROSS International performance award.
