When travelling in New Zealand and Asia, Gina noticed one thing that you don’t usually see on people’s Instagram posts – tons of trash. Refuse was ‘decorating’ some of the most naturally beautiful places in the world, and she decided action needed to be taken. This is when TrashBack was born, an initiative that encourages people to collect and clean up trash around the world. In addition, Gina joined the team of World Cleanup Day Frankfurt and organized with this team a regular clean-up. And in times when Gina is not actively involved in foodsharing as a food saver, she writes the Sustainability Column at Tag24. That’s what we call 100% “all-in” for creating a better world and we are looking forward to her talks.
