Dre Urhahn is co-founder of the Favela Painting Foundation, which mission is to create inspiring works of art in collaboration with local communities. They have 12 years of experience in the field, working on large scale social art projects in places ranging from the favelas in Rio de Janeiro and deprived neighbourhoods in North Philadelphia to slum areas in Haiti and refugee camps on Lesvos. Currently, they are setting up the Favela Painting Academy, which aims to analyse the impact of their work and share their learnings with the rest of the world.
