WRITER AND THE FLR EDITOR IN CHIEF

Alessandro Raveggi is a well-known Florentine writer. After publishing texts in numerous magazines and anthologies, in 2012 he released his first novel, “Nella vasca dei terribili piranha”, for Effigie editions, while in 2016 he created a collection of short stories entitled “Il grande regno dell’emergenza”. Curator of the anthology of Italian authors “Panamericana” for La Nuova Frontiera, Alessandro is also the author of literary essays including Calvino americano and David Foster Wallace (Doppiozero edizioni, the first complete Italian introduction to the American author). As a well-known name on the Florentine literary scene Alessandro is finally the director of the bilingual literary magazine “The FLR”: a six-monthly, illustrated publication, with stories and poems written by contemporary Italian authors, dedicated to telling Italy about today.
